I was 100% certain it was the Truth until 1995.Then small seeds of doubt grew over the next few Years...until i had to be true to myself,realise it was bollocks..and drop out.
I havent looked back.
So yes,im a 1995 quitter too!

the 1975 debacle left the fds scrambling for explanations for the mass exodus of r&f who were disillusioned by their bs.
the pat answer has always been, "those people didn't keep pace with god's chariot" and they weren't "strong in the truth" and allowed something so "minor" to "stumble" them.

Visiting graves . . . did you do it?
by garybuss intoday we had a nice road trip and visited two cemeteries where grandparents and aunts and uncles are buried.
we usually make the yearly trek on memorial weekend but this year we helped my son move and were out of town.
it's an upbeat day.

I did it for the first time about 5 Years ago...i have a distant relative buried in Belgium (Soldier of the first world War).I found the Grave and was actually quite emotional...strike that,i was extremely Emotional,and im not that type as a rule...
Anyhoo,i was counselled at the next Meeting "Brother,we have to be very careful not to idolize the so called glorious Dead"....Dickhead.
